STORMY NIMBUS - FLIGHT OF FANCY!
Nimbus was born into a race of dragons that specialise in flying without wings, instead combining their magic with the clouds that surround them. Though he had known nothing but clouds his whole life, Nimbus believed that somewhere there was a place where dragons stood upon solid ground. Many had teased him for this theory, but Nimbus set out to find this land as soon as he could fly well enough. After many months he discovered Skylands, where his feet touched soil for the first time. He was rewarded for his courageous efforts by Master Eon, who gave him the honour of becoming a Skylander.
Cloud Shot: Press Attack 1 to send a cloud forward. More clouds are fired with upgrades.
Fluffy Shield: Press Attack 2 and Nimbus tucks his head and legs into his cloud for defence. Can be upgraded so that attacks go through the cloud.
Nimbus Flight: Press Attack 3 and he picks his legs up to fly.
SOUL GEM: Fluffy Buddy: A small cloud travels with him and knocks back enemies.
WOW POW: Thunder Cloud: Nimbus' cloud coat becomes electrified and zaps enemies that get close.
FUN FACT: Nimbus' original Series 3 title was Sky High Nimbus; it was changed due to the lack of ideas surrounding the title.
THUNDERSTRIKE - BRING THE THUNDER!
Thunderstrike came from a race of powerful lightning dragons who considered themselves rivals of the cloud dragons, but the lightning dragons relied on the cloud dragons to gather storm clouds to charge their electric abilities, until Thunderstrike was born. Thunderstrike was unique, able to not only conduct electricity, but also to generate it. Raised as a prodigy, Thunderstrike didn't quite understand what not having electric powers was like, not until a cloud dragon called Nimbus explained to him that they supplied the lightning needed for his kind to survive, so Thunderstrike travelled away with the cloud dragon to his homeland, where he explained the lightning dragons' disposition. As a result, the cloud dragons came to an understanding with the lightning dragons and the two species began co-existing.
Lightning Ball: Press Attack 1 to throw a ball of lightning from Thunderstrike's tail. Range, damage and attack rate can increase with upgrades.
Charge Strike: Press Attack 2 to have Thunderstrike charge himself up with a lightning bolt. Press again to unleash the stored energy. Range and damage increase with upgrades.
Conductor Claws: Press Attack 3 to dig Thunderstrike's claws into the ground and create a field of electricity.
SOUL GEM: Lightning Rod: Holding Attack 2 directs Thunder's stored lightning to his tail for an electric wave attack.
FUN FACT: This Skylander's name switched between Thunderstrike and Thunderblast for the best part of his development. It was only after drawing him that Thunderstrike was decided.
GHETTO BLAST - SURROUNDED BY THE SOUND!
Ghetto Blast come from an area of Skylands where music is a way of life for everyone living there. As far as his people go, Ghetto never felt like he stood out much. Every day was a struggle for him to make his mark and get himself known, so eventually Ghetto Blast took it upon himself to create the most powerful sound in all Skylands. He created a special suit with built-in turntables and sound systems to better amplify his music. When he tried to test this suit, however, it send out a blast so strong it send him far into Skylands, to a completely different area. Ghetto knew he wasn't going to be welcome back, so he spent his time mastering his suit and learning how to use its abilities for good. Eventually, his efforts caught Master Eon's attention.
Turning Tables: Press Attack 1 to launch a record from Ghetto Blast's turntables. Damage can increase and two records can be launched at once with upgrades.
Bass Burst: Press Attack 2 to Fire a sound wave from his speakers. Damage increases greatly with upgrades.
Head Banger: Press Attack 3 to send out a laser from Ghetto's antennae which can be manually aimed. Ghetto can't move while doing this.
SOUL GEM: True Surround Sound: Records shot will combine to create a small speaker sentry if Attack 1 is held.
FUN FACT: Ghetto Blast originally had his arms and legs being the same light blue as his feet. This was changed when his design began to look too much like Mega Man.
WHISPER - WINDS OF CHANGE!
Whisper was once known as the queen of all air, she would be responsible for air currents around all of Skylands. But Whisper saw islands float past her home from time to time and she was always curious what happened on those other islands. When she couldn't bear the thought any longer, she appointed her second-in-command to be in charge, and since then she has travelled Skylands on the wind. She had an encounter with Kaos early on in her journeys, but possessing the powers of the wind, she defeated Kaos with relative ease. After several months, word spread around Skylands of the wandering queen and the incredible abilities she had, and inevitably Eon eventually caught wind of the wind master.
Whirlwind: Press Attack 1 to send a whirling mini-tornado forward. Range and damage increase with upgrades.
Royal Gust: Press Attack 2 to create a gust of wind which pushes enemies back. Can be upgraded so that a direction can be chosen.
Ancient Laser: Press Attack 3 to fire a laser from her helmet's crystal eyes. Whisper can still move as the laser only fires forward.
SOUL GEM: Laser Tornado: Aim a laser at a tornado to make it into a laser tornado which hits any nearby enemies.
FUN FACT: Whisper originally had a completely different design, being a simple humanoid who wore clouds and also sat on one at all times. Needless to say this was improved drastically.
